just an update, I got my Reese receiver hitch installed with a 2 inch drop down in this pic my camper is sitting level, I think a 2 inch drop is real close, and should work fine. but I want to order a 1 inch, it will be closer and when the weight of the camper sits on my tongue the rear of the truck will squat a bit, so a 1 inch my be better. I do still need to get a ball with a 1 inch shank, mine is only 3/4 inches the whole setup is rated to 6,000/600 pounds

Don't believe there is a 1" drop. It goes from 2" drop to 3/4" rise. (turning the ball mount over) One idea is a tall ball-that will give 1" rise.
Also, keep in mind that the ball should be at least 1" higher than trailer level because of tongue weight and spring settling on the vehicle. Try turning the ball mount over; it might be perfect. (simulate weight in the trailer; full water tank, camping stuff, etc)

Oh boy! now I don`t know what to do. On our new tow vehicle is stamped 2000lbs-200lbs tongue weight, on the bumper. Mr Sam (tongue weight 140lbs) sits a tad to high. So I have been looking for a couple of days for something like universal pictured. Our first thought was of cause to install a new hitch but this truck has had duel exaust pipes installed (fat shiny things)and we can`t see how the pipes leave any room for a hitch to be installed. Any suggestions? ?

Any suggestions? ? I would not hang it on the bumber! That's more for towing a lawn mower trailer than a RV. I was going to use mine in a pinch, (truck bumber, w/ hole for ball and holes for safety chain) but would not travel far with it. You need to a get a rig that's bolts to the frame IMO. One like the Reese system above. Some of the less expensive "bolt to the exisiting bumber" thing are problems waiting to happen. They can push you around and mess up your control when braking or slowing down. It screws up the tare weight on the rear tires somehow. FUNKY! You need to work with the pipes or move them.. Ka ching ka ching

simple, cut the pipes off and add a turn down after they come over the rear end, or you could turn them out on each side. many older trucks done that from the factory. my receiver hitch is not as low as the rear bumper, you could have any exhaust could add a bend so the pipes go under the receiver hitch.
