Well, how do ya like that? DMV does its greatest service again, and forces us into meeting folks that we never may have otherwise...Sounds like you will have a nice meeting even with the aggravation of waiting two hours with infants to be pushed into it...Enjoy the adventure!

Well done. I now use AAA for all registration work but you managed to make lemonade out of lemons plus meet the previous owner. our59deville.blogspot.com/

You made new friends! You and Bo are bikers? I just read a Kindle single by a couple who "winged it" to Alaska a couple of years ago.

Look what my hubby went and picked up for Gypsy Rose this morning To paraphrase pilots, any encounter with DMV that you walk away from is a good one. But I have to mention to everyone, it's very prudent, and advisable, to blur license plate numbers any time you post a plate on a public forum. Posting a plate number online is sort of like posting on Facebook when you go on vacation...

Ah, but posting to potentially thousands of strangers, that potentially include people who look for freshly rebuilt campers to steal, is much different from the chance of some random person seeing your camper on the street. Posting your license plate is in effect posting your name and address, or your driver's license, for anyone on Earth who wants to make the effort to look it up. It's well-known that burglars love people who post their vacations online, it's like letting your newspapers pile up in the driveway, only for everyone on Earth, especially if you have lots of fb friends whom you don't really know, or a public profile that anyone can see. I don't consider it paranoia, but simple prudence, without which life can indeed be too short... Not dwelling on what-ifs, but eliminating them Happy Easter!
