Here she is in all her glory!! I just bought this Shasta compact and was told it was a 1956 which I know better. Today my husband found the VIN number so if you know the exact year please let me know. I'm guessing 1965. VIN P10811 Thank you Attachments:

my vote is later than 65 but earlier than 70. still has the 4 pane side windows, our 70 has 2 pane BUT who knows what they did when they did it. Look behind the mirror and on the bottom of the sink. sometimes stamped. if its stamped later than 65 rules that out of course its no official way to date it but you know it wasn't made before the mirror and sink were

I would say that you have a 1968 Compact, based on the VIN numbers and dates below. "P" states that your Shasta was manufactured in Pennsylvania. These were gathered from members from Classic Shasta.
P7654 Compact 1967
P11764 Tandem Deluxe 21' 1968 P12317 AIRFLYTE 16' 1968 P15023 Airflyte 16' 1968 P15702 Compact 1968 P16639 Compact 1969
This is something that needs to be done for Vintage Shasta! Have all members give the VIN numbers, Model and Year of their Shasta's. Wondering if a DATA BASE could be made for Vintage Shasta, where a running list could be made....not just a ton of single posts?

Great Idea!! Will give mine when I find it. Tounge has been cut and rewelded a few times. (more like butchered).
