So, hubby broke a tail-light lens today; after only 4 days of ownership (he still hasn't made me a set of keys, - dang, do I sound biter) I don't see the 7" lens on Vintage Trailer Supply and anything on Ebay is long gone. I was hoping to find an after-market lens as the two (now one) looked like they were in great condition, and new. Not quite sure how to post a photo, but will try. Nope, so can anyone help; I'm sickened by the whole thing, and gawd knows he can't use the new trailer as a doghouse tonight *smiling, yet pouting at the same time*
p.s. advice on how to post photos would help; I would like to share my '63 rear door trailer photos; thought I was not that old, and computer literate, but....

Those Napa lenses were too big for my 68 clearance lights...
Sorry for your trouble, hellonwheels... Can you find a # anywhere on the broken lens?
As far as pictures, I click "Reply" and a little box is near the top to upload a photo from your computer. It says choose photo... Hope this helps.

They look great on my 68 LoFlyte! Still on there, haven't popped or fell off yet! Maybe mine or yours is not stock factory light assemblies. Also maybe different Shasta factories sometimes might have had to outsource different ones when they ran out. Got pix vikx? They are the same ones as on VTS link; www.vintagetrailersupply.com/Exterior_Lights_s/8.htm

Soup, your trailer looks brand new! Love that copper paint.
On pics, the file size can be no larger than 1 meg. What I do is take the highest quality shots my camera allows for max detail, which is something like 3600 pixels wide, way too big both in file size and literal size to post on here (I don't like scrolling, I like to be able to see the whole pic at once). So any pic I plan to post, I open up in Photoshop and use image/resize to 1024 x 768 or 1280 x 960, so that they don't take up the whole screen and people can view them without scrolling, then "save as" and name the file so I don't resize the original. This automatically makes them smaller files, which should post fine.
If you don't have Photoshop, in XP at least, you can right click on the pic in the folder, click "open with" and choose Windows Pic and Fax Viewer, then right click on the pic and choose "edit", which closes the pic viewer and opens Paint. Then in Paint, click "image", then "attributes" and change the size, save the file with a different name so you still have the full-res original, and post the new one here. 1024 x 768 is a good general size, it shows a lot of detail without being bigger than the screen. Photoshop has a check box for keeping the proportions of the pic the same so you only have to change one number to resize both dimensions, but Paint doesn't, so make sure you divide both dimensions by the same amount to avoid stretching or squeezing the pics. Hope this helps, it takes way longer to explain than it does to actually do, once you're used to it.

I’m embarrassed; I think the lens is the easy-to-find Bargman 99. I admit this is all new to me, and I freaked-out on the lens yesterday thinking I needed to get into bidding wars on Ebay for parts like I did for my old ’63 Rambler American Convertible. Hubby purchased two from Vintage Trailer Supply - just in case.

The lens in NOT a Bargman 99, it's a Auto Lamp 575 Chicago; any help tracking a pair down would be much appreciated (esp. by my hubby who is too big for the dog-house).
