The stuff they made the screen door boat with? Rustoleum makes one too, they have a display in HD of orange juice strainers sprayed with it. Rustoleum's version is semi-flexible, and cracks if you put big dents in it...

I haven't used yet...but plan on using the rustoleum under the undercoating in wheel wells and along the seem where the wall meets the frame!

Thank you both! I'm going to go with the por 15 for any metal and a good primer/sealer for any new wood. I did pick up a can of the flex seal at Lowes and may play around with it on some scraps.

I used a epoxy primer and then shot Chassis Saver over that, it too is a rust encapsulating paint. They guys at the auto paint store recommended Chassis Saver to me over Por, but after I sprayed it I googled it and it has mixed reveiws. Por is really spendy but sticks to everything so you could coat the wood with it also.

There's a chemical, sorry I can't remember the brand, but it's a rust converter that my old boss had me use inside the rusty cabinets on the outside of his box truck. You take off as much rust as you can and paint the rest with it, and it turns the rust into a hard black coating. Seemed to work quite well. Comes in a pint plastic bottle.

Phosphoric acid, I used it on me frame and it worked pretty good. You can buy it at the Home Depot, its called Phosphoric Prep and Etch, there is also another product that suppose to work even better but its hard it find, That one is called Ospho
