Right rear window. I was wiping the water off the skin where I cleaned, before reinstalling the plastic fender, so I was bent over and moving right along and never saw it coming. Sure did hurt. Instantly bled all over the place too.

Oh man! I guess restoring these things takes blood, sweat and tears. I know I've done all three. When we had the dinette out and were working on the floor and front birch panel, I hit my head on the dinette light about 72 times. Did I remove it until I was ready to put the dinette back in? Heck no. Glutton for punishment.

I haven't been attacked by the window yet but right after I got my 69 compact the hanging cabinet to the left of the door when stepping in seemed to jump right onto my shoulder. It's amazing what a hammer does to the cabinet. Now I have a nice floor mounted cabinet!

i think it may have been someone on here to said they bought those pool float noodles, sliced it down the side. when they have the windows open, working on it they pop those onto the edges... of course i could be imaging this entire story... but seems plausible...

Lesson learned? That I haven't, as I thought, learned not to run into the stupid windows. This is just the first time that it was a more damaging run onto a knife edge, instead of the simple bumps I got from standing up under one when I was working on the bottom framing.
Thanks to the Supreme Court, I now have to figure out if it's cheaper to not be able to afford health insurance, or cheaper not to be able to afford the fine for not being able to afford health insurance.

Cowcharge, I hear the fine's a LOT cheaper, at least for the first few years. Then it levels out, and then the fine is bigger.
