Morning all. I need a touch of help after looking on here and other sites I need some info. I have what I believe to be a 1964 16-SC and the vin number is 4T 5051. Guess it could be a 4I 5051 not sure at this point. Anyway green plate shows being made at the Northridge, Calif. plant. Here's the problem, there is no 4T or 4I in the list of plants letter vin id's here or anywhere else I have found. Anyone have a vin close to mine? Thanks Marty www.txmcook.blogspot.comOk here is the skinny. Checked with the nice lady at TxDot and the 4T 5051 VIN is indeed a 1964 16-sc Shasta. Made in March of 1964. Still it's odd that trailer has a Northridge Badge but I have not seen a T in the Calif. VIN list.

Hey Marty,
Do you have any pictures that you could post of the VIN? It is a strange number, but in PA, they were running a weird set of VIN's in the mid to late 1970's.
