YOu guys are great! the reason I have not posted any pictures is that I have made ZERO progress! I know I know...doesnt sound like me Its a bit of a crazy time right now. We are looking to sell our house so I have been doing some jobs on the house to get it ready for sale. Have not wanted to tear down the Airflyte and then have to move it. Once I dig in I promise that you will see the progress every step of the way... We will see how the house situation goes but I think maybe this winter. I did get something interesting though. THe original owner sent me old registrations for it!!!! THe oldest I have is from 79. BUT it has the vin number on the it, which was almost totally rusted off of the frame, so that is huge for getting a plate. And it turns out that it is a 1964, same as my Astrodome. I thought that was cool. The wife and I are still having debates over what style I should do... Maybe you folks can weigh in: Here is the debate: 1)Restore it back to original layout, with some small updates like fridge etc. (no toilet, no shower). Similar to Schweets but with the Airflyte layout, not the SC layout. OR 2) Do I go for the gusto like the Astrodome and put a full working shower, and toilet in it and keep to a retro look. (much more costly, but way more functional. The Astrodome is amazingly functional with the full bathroom. I truly has everything the giant campers have... But all those tanks, shower, toilet, Hot water and plumbing cost me some serious cash. What do you guys think?

Keep it simple.. You already have the full blown luxury Shasta with the great vintage look.. Maybe do the Airflyte as an 'overnighter' and use the cash you didn't spend on extras to purchase a cool 1964 tow vehicle?
