11330 This is all I could find on the hitch. I'm hoping to make a decision on this trailer soon so I can surprise my wife for her anniversary. Crazy I know Attachments:

Not crazy at all. They all need work, even the ones that are "restored"usually need something. Looks like something fun you can work on together! Can tell you about the numbers though...sorry

Based on the windows, I would say that it is a late 50's to early, early 60's.
It looks to me to be an Airflyte and a fun project.

Look on the tongue for the VIN. Facing the trailer at the point of the tongue, look on the right, INSIDE on the street side, near the front. You may need some rust solvent. Good luck.

THe glass is no big deal, so dont let that scare you. Its amazing how cheap replacement glass is... the door is a challenge (doable) but a challenge. Looks like it was attacked by a bear with a can opener.
Go for it!

Yeay! i think we're going to go for it. i cant wait. however i dont have the best room for it. if anyone in California(high desert) can lead me to a good restoration guy. i have another can ham(terry) that i found and a tallisman that i would like to give, in exchange for work. i also have the founds to support this project. any sort of PM would be great just need to get the shasta on some good wheels and we will be off the ground. maybe i should move this thread to the welcome section? thanks guys
