I bought my camper last spring from a couple in Frankfort, KY. They said the camper came with the land that her father bought, lots of acres and therefore had no title. Called the DMV... they told me I would need a court order in order for me to be able to get a title.... YIKes..
I am having trouble locating the VIN, they said it was a '64 Shasta. I found a plate on the curb side near the front side of the camper that reads MHMA Travel Trailer Approved Standards Electrical Plumbing Heating Health Safety T0031037 (is this the vin?)

The VIN number is located on the tongue of the trailer. Check out this thread and it will help with the location: vintageshasta.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=title&action=display&thread=352Once you have located it, post it and I will be able to tell you when it was built. The number that you found is an inspection number given by the MHMA stating that the trailer meets all building standards. Ross
