V= Indiana manufacture plant. The small plate on the side near the door handles will tell you this for sure. The model is a 16SC , 16-foot overall trailer length, self-contained model. Best guess on the year would be 1972 or '73, by the one vent in front of the door; somewhere near that time period was when they stopped installing the propane light over the stove. If there were one installed there would be a smaller vent under the one that is there. The interior is a bit of a tell too, as the models from about 73 on were finished with dark-colored paneling, earlier models were a blonder, almost whitewashed color.

Based on your VIN#, you have a 1972. Chris is right, it looks to be a 16SC. To double check, measure the total length, from tongue to bumper.

this is whats great about this forum.... first off you have Ross who keeps the VIN database and secondly with so many active members owning all styles of Shasta trailers there is usually someone on here who knows something about someone elses trailer. For instance.... i don't know much about the one in this post. I could make an educated guess based on some characteristics etc etc but nothing positive. BUT someone else on here knows that model even better. I love it, always learning.
