I am re wiring my lights, and replacing my marker lights with VTS models. When I took off my tail lights, I discovered that they have two wires, a green and a black. The tail lights are not original, and the abackplates are in pretty good condition. They use a single bulb with two filaments. I'm considering replacing the sockets, as the corrosion is bad, and I don't want them to fail. So, here's the question-I'd like to continue to use a atwo filament bulb, and If I replcae the socket, it will be with a similar type. So, Green wire is Turn/Stop, and black is running light? So then I connect the black wire to the running light line, and the green wire to the turn signal lines? Does that sound right?

Thanks vikx. So now the question is, where do Ifind the bulb sockets? I guess they are called "bayonet" type sockets, but I assumed you'd be abel to find these anywhere, and that is turning not to be the case, of course!
