Need a jack/ diameter too big on new ones?

Hi folks, I went to tractor supply with old A frame jack in hand from my 68 loflyte. It Has the three bolt pattern. All the jacks there were too fat to fit through the O hole. I measured mine at 2 1/4", across the shaft below the A. Anyone have any luck finding the narrower shaft?? Thanks!!

6" diameter or am I missing something?? Most jacks' outer tubes are about 2 1/4" in diameter.

Hi Ross,
I measured the circumference. You're right it's 2 1/4 " across. All the tractor supply(going by feel) ones were too fat.
I should never measure before coffee!!

it fits! I order this one after everyone in Denver told me i had to re-drill my frame, since the narrower jacks are no longer being made.

You won't find these at Tractor supply, farm/Fleet, etc, They don't have 1 7/8 OD pipe.

If --- is temp. out of stock, you can go to any RV center now and buy BAL brand side winder or top winder 1000 lb with 1 7/8" shaft. Anything rated more than 1000lb lift will start going into 2 1/4" outer pipe OD.

These are the 1000lb, 1 7/8" outer pipe OD;
BAL brand Sidewind model#29015B, Catalog part#94-8727
BAL brand Topwind model #29020B, Catalog part#94-8725
Both are 1 7/8" OD outer tube.

Carried everywhere, I think Amazon even has them, and I have seen as low as $37.00 + 8lbs to ship.

If ya can't wait for --- to restock.

Yes but.....
They were temp out of stock.
(Touche' LOL)

I drove to closest RV center (TODAY) and they were in stock for normal MSRP + tax price, out the door.
I purchased and installed same day! (TODAY!! OH YEAH!!! WOOOO HOOOO)
No waiting and wondering.

You can also find them in any RV parts catalog with above listed numbers.

They are great people at VTS but you don't have to go there for everything.
