We joined the airstreams last year at their rally, had a nice time and the turn out was really good. Kristi and I have already booked our sites for their next Stn Mtn Rally and everyone is welcome to join in on the fun. When you call the campground be sure to mention you are with the Airstream rally to end up in the right place...the purple loop 140-160's I believe are the #'s but the color is definitely right.
See ya'll

We are thinking about trying to make it. Just to be clear, are we non-ASers allowed in their reserved spots?

They must be as we were in the loop last year with them with the shasta. this year we're bringing the covered wagon with "built-in" a/c. we booked site 162 which is the shady side of the loop.

Donald and Kristi are on site 159, also on the shaded side. We are near the playground, bathroom, and the pool. Also, it is a short walk down to the lake and boat dock. So far, 12 sites are booked and most are vintage trailers. Try to reserve near us, because if all the sites aren't reserved before the deadline Motorhomes will probably take them. Lets try to keep the Airstreams and other vintage trailers close together.

Why do I always get jealous when others are at a rally?

because we have so much fun and you know it! our covered wagon was one of only 2 non-airstreams at the rally. we could have won the 'most unusual' trailer award but it went to the "Wally Byam Holiday" which is an airstream prototype. viewing the Royal Spartanette took me back to "the rat pack" days of drinnks and lounging, it was beautifully restored to say the least! as 65callie noted, we used to be shasta people (now sold) now we're SOB's (covered wagon) but it turns out we're going to turn into AS's (AirStreamerS) as we believe we found the perfect trailer for us while we were taking the trailer tour at the rally...a 1966 Overlander International. now, if we can just find the needle in the haystack. haha Attachments:

no, chickens can't but don't you see the lead horse, Sammy? he's in charge of that wagon. the bucket light? i don't recall but i think some silly young man named Ken made it. it was kind of ordinary so i had to make it special by adding my own touch to it. rumor has it his wife is jealous of it and wants to copy my idea...its okay, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery Attachments:

As long as you don't sell it after you get the bucket all fixed up wife isn't into glamping, doubt she will want to copy it (sigh.... knows she probbaly wants to copy it........)

I haven't been on the Shasta Forum in a long time and had to figure everything out all over again. Here are the pictures from the TAC Rally and Vintage Trailer Rally at Stone Mountain Park.
