We were camping this past weekend and a truck drove by empty, no trailer etc. But i saw this massive extension sticking out of the back, double tube, with chains etc. Later i went by their site to check out what it was. Guy had a slide in camper for the bed of his truck and behind that he was towing his boat. But because the slide in hangs off the back of the truck he needed this extension. Had not seen it on here before so figured i would share (sorry if its been on here before an i missed it) Looked them up online, they offer various lengths. Says they are designed for trailers up to 12' in length and up to 12,000 pounds. Its called the Super Truss and here is the link www.torklift.com/t.php?w_page=supertrussSite also has some other interesting things i had not seen before. Cool stuff! I've actually seen the camper extensions in use. They seem very sturdy... Thanks.

That looks pretty rugged, ayuh (although I think he needs another turn on that turnbuckle).
The aux battery box is cool, too. I put a battery isolator switch in my van when I had my 6-volt golf cart batteries mounted in it, so that the alternator charged them when it was done charging the van battery. Now that the big batteries are back in the camper, I will extend the cables to plug into a 12v connector on the font of the trailer so that they charge while towing... Every extra charging method helps, especially when you want to have all your electric toys in your camper...
