Now that is exciting!. It looks simply marvelous. I have a 64' Airflyte just like it. I drove 7,800 miles, 25 vacation days and enough fuel to drive from the Pacific ocean to the Atlantic and back home. But I decided to rebuild it completely and that is exactly what I did. Take a look for yourself. I started August 3, 2012 and I will be done before July/2013 for our next vacation at Glacier National Park. My wife keeps looking at the daily web cam to remind where we are going this summer. I have trailer on the brain for now. Every little thing I do is one step closer to being done and I only have to do this once. It has been a Great experience! s1309.beta.photobucket.com/user/64cozy1/library/?

Wow, Znorm, your work is fantastic and your trailer is looking awesome. Could you possibly repost this under a new thread so we can find it again to look at your photos? Otherwise, I, for one, will be searching trying to remember where it was. So jealous of your talent. It's going to be a beauty, for sure. Barbara

I have also been admiring your work znorm. I am not too far from Glacier National Park, would love to see your finished work if you find yourself near Calgary. My '58 deluxe should be nicely disassembled by July.

Thanks for the kudos. It is easy to get overwhelmed at times. So I have been trying to work on it everyday for a couple of hours and at least 8 hrs Sat. & Sun. Metal goes on this weekend, hopefully. I told my wife at the very end of the job things really start to come together like the windows, cabinet doors, pulls, lights, upholstery cushions, curtains etc. That is when it really becomes exciting. I keep telling myself I only have to this once. It has been a great and trying experience. I have my wife to thank for this adventure and more to come!

I got a $2500 estimate for the paint job. I have to polish the stripe prior. That is not the only estimate, others were about $1000 higher and this guy does classic cars. Also, the paint booth needs to be tall and wide enough to accept the soon to be beauty. They are hard to find the old booths because of AQMD/Regulations. You can go to a motor home co., but for more money.
