I didn't mean anything by that its just that they are retired and we have a 2 Year old and another on the way so we are trying to keep our setup simple and original and let the Grandparents have the bells and whistles.

We will let that one slide this time I have A/C because I live south of Houston and plan to camp in the desert southwest and near the coast at least some of the time and I don't want to melt. Still working on the flat screen

Congrat on Lucy. We spoke at length with Mark before the auction was over. We thought long and hard about bidding on her but decided SLC is a little too far to drive from Louisiana. I wanted to let you know the hole the roof was there b4 the end of the auction. Mark sent pics he took the friday b4 the auction ended and during our phone call (with his baby screaming inthe phone the whole time)and I asked him about that very spot on the roof. He said he did not know what it was. The vent cover flying off did not damage your roof. I wish you many years of happiness with your Lucy. We are going to drive next weekend to pick up the Super Deluxe we're buying. It too is a 1959. Oh one of the other reasons we opted not to bid was no bathroom on the airflyte. I'm sure you will have a creative solution to that minor inconvenience. There are many cool ideas on this forum.

Just once.... Everyone who has ever owned a trailer has forgotten and left the vent open during a rain storm. It only takes once to start the damage. Bob and Cindy just put one of these in a trailer and I fell in love with it.

I finally bought a deep cycle battery at Costco this week and ordered our converter on line should be getting here any day now. Today I installed a sheet meta platform for the new battery and our propane tank. I'm pretty excited the way it turned out. Very minimal and slick. Once the hitch gets blasted and the tank repainted it will look Money. Attachments:

Clean! See it doesn't matter where you start. As long as you start.

Does the comet get to tow her? I've got a 63 Meteor and I'm thinking about getting her a tow hitch so I can take the trailer around town, like to the beach.. Or maybe a car show!

Looks like you really scored a great trailer. I want to put a vote of encouragement in to you to get a fantastic fan. If you are in San Diego....a fantastic fan may eliminate the need for you to deal with air conditioning. I've had mine for a couple of years and have zero complaints. Use wood trim to covet the cut out and no one will notice. and who cares what it looks like from above?

So we headed out to San Elijo campground for the last 3 days and boy did we hit some good weather 80-90 degrees at the coast. So nice to see what Lucy really needs to get dialed in enjoy some of the pics.
