I know I am getting ahead of myself, but I am so excited that all of the doors are now finished! Hardware powdercoated in the bright red and a sample for the countertops and mini-dinette pull down tables....Oh and some retro silverware I found at Ross for pretty cheap....This is the only part of the inside I am painting (Amber shellac for the entire inside), but I am thrilled with the accent green and red! Small successes! Now to find the original floor tiles.... Attachments:

You may not find the original floor tiles, but take a look at Forbo Marmoleum and you might come pretty close. It's looking great!

Very nice. Glad you are refinishing the birch paneling. I see you are from PR.... I spent some time up near there working in Cambria and Morro Bay 2 years ago. It was just beautiful. I found an old AirFloat up in the hills near there and hooked the owner up with a buyer from Washington State. Everyone is happy now. LOL...
Good luck on the floor.

Hamlet...THANK YOU! Originally, I thought maybe checkerboard flooring, but with the retro boomerang tables/countertops, it would look too busy I think. I think one that recently sold on ebay had this flooring, looked new. I will do my best...I just love it!
Mobiltec, yes all birch and since about 80% needed to be replaced, just doing it all. I was going to do the cabinet faces amber also, but I wanted a bit of color. The powder coating was nice too and it turned out great. No more paint tho, just shellac. Yes, we are blessed to live in a pretty sweet area. Cambria and Morro Bay are amazing. There is a trailer camping weekend (Vintage) in Pismo Beach in May of every year. You should check it out. I am going this year to get ideas. I would love to camp there at some point and be a "camper" at the festival instead of a "tourist", but all in time I guess. Thats cool you were the go between for the AirFloat. I found my 62 Shasta about 20 minutes away from my house, got lucky. Altho it is a hot mess now, purchased for $700, so I have a ways to go. Will keep posted on floor!
