So- our new shasta has the original factory badge from Van Nuys, CA (which is just around the corner from where we live- so fun!)
It has been oxidized pretty bad- I lightly attempted cleaning it with a sponge- going to try some paint wax/polish next....
It is still legible but barely- can someone suggest best cleaning methods on it? It is possible to restore this? (pic coming- but I'm sure you know the drill!)

never seen one restored, they pop up on ebay now and again in decent shape

Is yours from the Tampa Ave factory or Keswick? The reason I ask is I ordered this one from VTS which didn't have a picture, it just said it was for the Van Nuys Factory. It's nice but its screen painted and mine was from the Tampa Ave factory so I restored mine. If you want this one you can have it, just pay the shipping! Attachments:
