I am replacing my square tail lights on my '71 1400 with the round Bargman tail lights from Vintage Trailer Supply to go more with an original look. I have seen in pics that those original round tail lights usually had some type of license plate mount on the left side. My new ones do not have such a mount, was wondering where you get such an item. Thanks!

We just picked up a Shasta with the round Bargman lights. I`ll take a picture for you tomorrow in the daylight. Maybe with a picture, members will know where to find one.

Hey MM , yeah I am kinda with you and I was working on the same thing last night. I've a 71 Loflyte. They have the "Pathfinder 575- 576". I had salvage the bracket from a 71 1400, cleaned them up.. Painted them The lenses are really hard to find these days. So bummer on my salvage operation. I ordered the "99" lens kit and mounting plates from VTS. Really nice and clean but I have my reservation about getting a good ground. And to my discovery, they are larger than the 575-576 mounts. Anyhow, just below the proximity of the radius as you mount the left side lens supporting plate, there is a horizontal wood spar behind the skin there. I am going to mount the license plate bracket there. Now,, there is no "clear" lens in the No. 99's like there would be in the 575, but hey.. I am pulling a vintage rig here occifer I hope my approach gave you an idea or two..
