Yep. Went through Cayucos every day on the way to and from work in Cambria. Either place would be fine with me. Say wouldn't Morro Bay be a great place for a vintage trailer rally? Bet it would be a great place for Glamping. Could do a Beach type theme...

Hey how do I put the highlight around what people say to answer it? I tried above but apparently failed..sorry...computer lame. Just hit the "quote" top left of post to be answered. I had the same question but was stumped looking for that "quote" at the top LEFT-as a lefty, anything left is right of center, so I looked top right. I'll post this and see if it works.

I’m married to a Glamper. This was her trailer before the lighted wings. Dave Yeah! I can do it! I'm totally getting your wife's humor, Dave. A few more years to go for a complete set of M&M's, if the first M doesn't kill one of us before I qualify. Good thing he is letting me do the decorating. My take on "glamping" is about decorating, matching colors, fabrics, comfort and dog friendly. Goodwill, Craigslist, Rummage Sales and Free stuff, if you can. Using as much of my mother's fabric stash for curtains. I'll admit, I paid full price for a clock that had a black and white polka dot face (part of my Loon theme) at Dollar General-$4 and bought way too much vinyl for one trailer (CL). However, the expense account (there really wasn't one) has or will all go to the sandblasting, priming, new framing, wiring, new paneling, putty tape, and hopefully, just painting the skin, he's already disagreeing with me on that, though. I'm definitely rooted to my backpacking days and still going on the "lighter" side of decorating and probably not hauling anything bigger than the dog or the vintage tandem. Everything must be functional.

BTW-The dog is 100lbs big. A few weeks ago, I drove to a shelter 4.5 hours away (1/3 the distance some would travel for a Shasta) to rescue another BIG guy. Unfortunately, the Karma wasn't there and I drove home sad, sad, sad....I do believe dogs come into our lives for a purpose and if you've had a lifetime with dog/s, each one seems to represent a particular stage off our lives. Mobiltec-sorry for the loss of your camping companion-enjoyed reading your travel stories together.

BTW-Just found the "members" section and how to find out the number of posts someone has made. We are no longer NEOPHYTES or New Members- We have 100 posts! How do we change our name for the forum without starting over?
Hamlet only needs 4 more posts to be in the 2K Club!!!!!! Hamlet's decorating and comfort style is a very attractive form of glamping it, to me. The extra headroom, potty and shower are more than I could wish for right now. Figuring out where to store the coffee can when we make the bed bigger for the dog, er...my 6'4 husband.

Thank you for the compliment. I was going to try to stretch the last four pre-2k posts out over several weeks, bu it's just not going to happen. There that's three left.

Universal - I always wondered why that moniker! Txoil - Transworld Consortium. Awesome.
Ooooh - a Bond-themed trailer! You could paint a martini class on the back end with the quote, "Shaken, not stirred" (or is it the other way around???) Ladies, you could name yourself after one of the famous Bond girls - how racy!

Correct... "Shaken, not stirred"... Any drink on the rocks. Like scotch on the rocks. Whiskey on the rocks. Tried it with Rum and Coke once and didn't like it. So mixed drinks you stir I guess.

You only want to shake drinks you want watered down, like martinis it chills the drink and melts the ice, watering it down some..

Go to your profile and click on "modify profile". You should be able to change your display name there.
The only other option is to delete your neophyte account and start over as a new member. The problem is, Proboards may not allow you to join again with the same email address...
