I am in the process of rebuilding the windows on my 1960 Shasta. The info from the forum has been invaluable. I found some some pile weatherstripping that fits my jalousie windows but after i slide it in the window will not close all the way. Is there a special weather stripping that is smaller or what?

Let me guess. You ordered it from VTS. My windows were extremely hard to close as well with their product. It's just a 1/16th or so too tall IMO. You can let it wear for awhile and work the window up and down to excercise the pile. This should do it. Or, you can do what I did and go to your local hardware store and find a shorter pile.

actually I got it at the local hardware store. It looks just like the stuff VTS has on there site. But i cant get the window to close all the way. So they make these in different thicknesses?
