She's almost 16' total.. So apparently not a 56.. Not sure about 57.. Possibly a 58..

I believe Butch and Sundance are 14'6" total. They are Shasta 1500s. Yours is probably a 57 1500. I`m confused This one 15`8" total.

Oh this is the one that had me flabergasted because of the side jalousie windows in front. Are you planning on puting it back the way it was to be era correct?

Mobiltec- part of me wants to and part of me wonders why I would sacrifice the air flow for it

Well, you seem to have stumped the board with what you have.... May be a first! The thumbnail looks like a 1500 except for that side front window. and the length.

The side windows were replaced, the rounded corners are just covered with more aluminum.
The weird part is that it's longer.. I don't understand.
It's 13 body, and just shy of 16 with the hitch.
Maybe it's an early airflyte or something?

It's a 1500. Someone just put jalousie windows in the front sides and added a little metal.

Ok so Ross thinks it's a deluxe, because of the fridge vent door.. And that it's a 56.

Schweet- it's a 13' body, so Ross and Mobil are sure it's a 1500, and Ross thinks it's probably a deluxe due to the fridge door..

You basically posted those exact dimensions earlier in you post. You have a 1600, a 1500 would have a 12' body and 2.8' of hitch

When we measures the hitch it was just over 2', but it's hard to tell because the front of the trailer is a little squishy over the hitch frame there. But the body is def 13', measured at the side.

Okay if the body is 13' it is NOT a 1500. The body on a 1500 is a bit less than 12' measured at the widest part of the ham shape and just under 14'8 inches in length. Schweet's link is the trailer go look at it, down to the vent for the fridge. 1600 makes a lot more sense and would then make this one of the only 1600's I'm aware of . Deluxe was a 19' trailer I thought

Body is definitely for sure 13. The picture looks just like my trailer, down to the vent, the (original) dinette window shape..
But Ross is sure it's a 56 according to the vin (so maybe if anything titled a 57, but built 56)
I also haven't seen my krefft fridge in anything else either, and my under sink cabinets are two doors, not just one.
...so maybe I really do have an oddball trailer? A 56 1600?
..if I have one of the only ones I'm gonna have to do a frame off!!

But that's okay....I just don't think any of us have seen a 56 1600 before, but that appears to be what you have!!

It's awesome to have something not so common... Just confusing!! At least now I know!
That one in the picture must be a 56-57-58 right?

That one in the picture must be a 56-57-58 right? Yes, 1959 is when they transitioned from the "Jelly Bean" to the "Canned Ham" Shape, that is when the wings appeared also!

The problem with having an uncommon one, is that the rest of us will be unapologetic voyeurs as you bring your new family member back to its former glory. We can't wait to see the restoration pics!
