Hi mobiltec,
I hope your feeling better from the Flu now.
Not questioning you here because I've seen enough of your vids to know your "The Man" and I don't even play in the same neighborhood as you but I was wondering....(your my hero/mentor, Thanks for the deville vids on Utube)
Now for this question, I am under assumption of some basics on 12 volt I thought to be true. Please advise further to help me learn more.
I thought the basics were, 12 volt power outlets were supposed to be rated for 20 amp (12 GA wire) and that is the max ever needed for outlets and line legs for 12 volt. I was also understanding main 12 volt in (from batt)would be at 30 amp (10 or 8 GA wire).
I guess what I'm trying to muddle here is usually separate 30 amp main line whole system fuse from batt, 20 amp fuse for any power outlet plugs, and 15 amp fuses and below on dedicated legs depending on rating of item powered.
You mention and I see an in-line 30 amp fuse.
Are you only using the 1, 30 amp fuse for whole system?
Are there any other in line separate leg fuses?
Is this in-line 30 amp fuse for the power outlet plug only?
Please advise and have a great day today,
I like this install by the way. Simple, neat, time saving. I may be using this set up in the near future so any insight would be greatly appreciated.
