We are taking off all the old silicon and caulk from our Airflyte and am wondering how to join the seams that slip together along the sides. Not the corners, but rather the horizontal sections. Would something like Lexal be right?

I'd like an answer to this too. I have come to see hortizontal seams amd wondered about water getting in. especially in high winds like hurrican season or just florida storms. BUT i have to do it from the outside my interior came already redone. be blessed.

They are not normally sealed. The "tail" is stapled to horizontal wood and the lower piece of skin is slipped up into the Pittsburg seam. I've not seen a skin leak when properly installed.
