I just picked up my custom full splash for behind my counter area in my 62 Airflyte. Looks awesome! Had a local sheetmetal company make it for me and I will cut it to fit tight to the cabs and window. Will use the original edge band from the stove metal for the two ends. I had then "score" a 3" diamond pattern in the metal and I will polish it up real nice like. Gonna look good! One benefit what that I could cut some channels in the paneling that will be behind the splash to run some new 12v wires for the new electrical system I am installing.

That's a good idea for runing wires from the below lower cabinets to the upper cabinets...
