Mmm, what is with the carpet on the back below the window?

This one must go with the usual caveat...if the framing has been taken care of it should be a good one. The skin on the rear looks straight, no sag on the bumper frame, so it may have been done beneath that carpet. That may have been used to replace that difficult-to-match paneling. There are only a couple very minor points I can see wrong, and I would not say much more without hands-on. There is a little "wrinkle" below the cargo door, and screws in the bottom of the skin along the curbside. That by itself isn't so bad, but they seem unevenly spaced near the bottom of the door....it would depend on the framing...

Looks like the reason for selling the Compact.

Hmm, nice Filed and Stream. Didn't notice that before. Also noticing other things I didn't before. Nothing bad, and all could be explained by pictures showing repairs, but we don't have those. If all is done well, I'd offer him $3500, but I think 4k is a bit steep, especially since he didn't show us the roof vent.

Agreed. Carpet is not cool, either.
