I have been looking for a suitable countertop & tabletop laminate it seems like forever! (anyone look at my blog? If so, you know I've been whining about it..lol) So I decided to peek at Craigslist, and found this! Click HERE to see! Unfortunately there is not enough to do the table and the counter. I am thinking use it for the counter, as the table usually has a cloth anyway. Is that too strange? I just love the pattern so much I really want to use it. What do you all think?

Wow I really love that design! If you decide that ultimately you just cant have the countertop if the table is not done, or vice versa, I will gladly take that problem off your hands!

That's cool. I'm sure you could find a solid formica or wilsonart laminate to do the table and they'd coordinate.

OR... you could get a coordinating solid or another pattern and do a design that would incorporate both. Then you'd have a counter and table that match. This was done on several brands of old trailers originally, so although IShasta didn't do it, it'd still be period correct.

Oh, neat idea Hamlet! Maybe save a little piece from the sink cutout and incorporate it in the table? I can hear my buddy Dave protesting already! The Formica thing is NOT his favorite part of this rebuild! Mobil! Hurry home! LOL

I've seen diamonds, long triangles, etc. It can look really cool.

That's really neat looking stuff. And I like the idea of mixing it with something else to make it match with the table. That would be very artistic.

You finally found it! I agree w/Hamlet; minimally, a diamond cut of the counter material in the center of the table and a diamond cut of the table material on the sink cover. Congrats again for you patience in finding just what you want!
