So I was pretty impressed with how this turned out after about 6hrs of work and some good luck with what was under all those layers of paint and whatever else was baked on this stove. . Anyone else got some sweet before/after pics of their trailer projects???

I second the WOW. I wouldn't have guessed that that would have cleaned up so well. Worth the elbow grease that you put in!

I third the WOW. Now, can you come over and do the same to my stove top at home?

Forgot to post the top pic w the burner covers (that still need done) removed : ). I didn't even know what kind of stove it was until the emblem surfaced. This stove came from a 58 aloha . I haven't been able to find the 'correct' stove for my shasta so I think I'm gonna just stick with this one considering how it turned out...not perfect but pretty good considering.

Man that stuff sure gets some bad reviews lol, but for five bucks I might give it a shot anyways (or maybe just leave it, i think its cool to have stuff show a little age but still look good)
Anyone else got some good before/after project photos? Gives me some good inspiration to start on something new : )

Those are really neat. It looks like an old one made from metal and masonite board. If it is it's heavier than all get up isn't it? I just used mine two weekends ago. Strong too.

That's a cool little table...I'll have to keep an eye out for One of those. Does that fit into your cargo area when it folds up?

The table folds up pretty good and doesn't weigh too much for being mostly metal (I lugged it around the flea market for about a half an hour). I think It will fit in the cargo area pretty easily even tho I haven't tried yet. So far, I re-did the top with amber shellac to match the inside of our trailer and it came out looking alright . I'll post pics here once it's done.

Here's the progress so far. Started out with a couple coats of dark stain to try and cover up all the stains and i didn't like it so I started to sand it all off. My neighbor stopped by in the middle of it all and said I should shellac it and see what happens...so I stopped mid sand and said what the heck why not. It actually turned out pretty cool I think. Still have to do the seats so its not a total 'after' pic. Photobucket is giving me problems but this link works for the pic i1099.photobucket.com/albums/g394/mmoline77/CAM00308_zps23547aff.jpg

I wish Mr. HOW would fit at that table *sigh*. We participate for the first time in a rally next weekend - I've collected so much vintage "stuff" that I don't really know what to stage first.
