Well, I stopped by my upholstery shop today to check on my dinette seats they were suppose to be done June 1st, and they have still not started on them, one of the workers had major medical issues, I leave for my National Guard 2 week summer camp Friday so I will not be able to get them until July 1st (if they are done by then) I was hoping to have them before I left, bummer, just venting, for $450.00 I expected a better turn around time.

Sounds like our story altho backwards...my material keeps showing up on time, but my rennorvator is falling behind, having trouble with the walls. He is slow to recunstruct...I am sewing curtians today tho..the floor is here, the appliances are here. I almost have our Holiday stove into 100% shape...... Brooke

I have a slow upholster-er also. But it's my mother, and free in exchange for services. So I guess I can't complain too much.

Today, I found a local guy to do our dinette seats. His price is $450 for both, and will take only a few days. I'll keep my fingers crossed!

That sounds like a good deal. Are you using the original springs?

$450 for reupholstering 2 spring seats sounds like too good of a deal... the best quote I could get out here (CA) was $300 per seat.....did it my self for about 120 in materials.
