We just procured a Shasta this week and plan on doing repairs and restoration.
I've been trying to go through the various boards to see what we need to get for supplies. But there are so many boards for every category.
I wish there was like a Shopping List with what to buy and how much, to help get started so it is all in one place. For instance, I have a 1958 Airflyte 16' so if there was a list like we will need X amount of welting, X amount of window seal, X amount of shellac, X amount of stainless screws... you get the idea.
This whole thing is overwhelming as a newb, a list sure would be nice so we wouldn't be redundant asking all you sage owners the same questions.
It's an idea perhaps?

Must have tools: Sawz-all, kreg jig, hack saw blade with tape handle. Basically all kinds of woodworking tools
Supplies: Welt…about 200 ft. Stainless steal screws about a thousand for the exterior, Schweet mentioned the bolt depot and that he used about a thousand screws for his trailer, at first I didn't believe I would need that much, but he was right on. I also went through a lot of screws reframing and twist nails for the birch. I bought a pack of the Hehr gaskets from VTS, which was enough for my widows and cargo doors. You may need more for you trailer because you have more hehr windows. Shellac: I went through at least a 1-½ gallons of amber. I’m still working on the clear, but likely a gallon and ½ of clear as well.
