We are and I'm SO excited! It's July, 28th-31st at the South Bend KOA in Granger, IN. Here is a link: nindianarally.blogspot.com/I think we got the last spot. But there could be someone that cancels. Also I think they may rent out tent spaces for vintage trailers if more people want to attend. Please verify that first though. But I'm pretty sure that's what she said. So far I believe there is 60-65 vintage trailers that will be there this year. I can't wait! This will be our first rally and by the looks on the events/activities, it really looks like it will be a lot of fun!

Has anyone been to this rally in the past? I see only tent sites are available that have electric/water hook-up. Would these sites be ok for a 17" Frolic camper?
Just contacted them and was able to book a site checking in on Saturday/leaving on Sunday. Now to surprise the wife with the news.

Have to say I am a bit jealous- find myself alone and terrified to drive with the compact trailer so will be stuck at home and will busy myself with restorations. Hope all have fun and that there is another day for me.

We will be there again this year. Can't wait. It's really a lot of fun. I think the theme this year is Pirates and Wenches. So bring your best costume!!

Not really a whole lot to do on Litttle Sanitee but my brake lines on my truck broke and I'm so close to being able to head out. The lines will cost a lot and I had to cancel the Indiana vintage rally I was so looking forward to. In the whole scheme of things in the world, this is small and petty but I feel like crying. It will be at least a few weeks before I have enough saved to have the lines fixed. I will drive up to the rally and hope to meet several of you folks though.

We are packing tomorrow when I get off work and making the 4 hour drive up from southern Indiana on Friday morning. This will be The Frolics 4th camping trip this summer. It will be nice to finally see more vintage trailers. So far, we haven't seen a single one in any of the campgrounds that are within 25 years of ours:) At least we keep getting lots of comments from people about the trailer.
Flyingham, we love Cave City. If you have kids, make a quick at Dinosaur World before you continue the drive. We are driving down to Cave City to camp at the Jellystone campground for 3 nights over Labor Day weekend. We always make it a point to spend a few hours there on our way home each year from vacation in Florida.
We will be in Site 45 this weekend, can't wait.

Our 2 and 5 year olds are as excited as we are about this rally. They want to show everyone their camper, especially their bunk bed and DVD player!

Had a blast at the rally and it was really nice meeting you all! Now I can't wait until next year. I have a few pics on my blog. I didn't get a chance to do the open house tour unfortunately so I'm glad Alana got some great pics.
