Is there a source for a set of templates if a guy wanted to fab up a set of sidewalls from scratch without the luxury of having another trailer to take apart and duplicate?
How about a framing print is anything like that available.
Also unrelated, what model is the early 60s with the bunk up top in front. What is the biggest early 60s they did and what would it weigh dry?
Thanks in advance

I would look on the Teardrops sites. Many of those are homebuilt. THey have a ton of plans on there. www.teardrops.net/plans01.htmlwww.mikenchell.com/forums/As to your unrelated question (glad you're not trying to build one from scratch) that would be the astrodome or the astroflyte.

I've wondered about your exact line of thought. When I see these trailers torn down to the bare metal frame in a complete frame-off restoration I think it's not too far from building a brand new trailer. Which sort of appeals to me (but definitely *not* my DH)
I hope you find something!

Another way would be to snatch the biggest squarely-shot google image of the trailer you want to copy and resize it in photoshop, using the ruler function on the edges of the pics like graph paper. Or a good, squarely-shot pic from someone's blog of a newly-completed wall frame.
