I was looking at the photos of the other Shasta's with front window rock guards and see that the drip caps are right above them. My rock guard was fabricated from a different model's rock guard by a friend. Since it's wider than my drip rail would I logically just install it where the existing drip rail is and then get a wider drip rail and install that right above the rock guard? I hope I'm making sense. Attachments:

well I cant help with this much except to say if you install it where the existing drip rail is and then get a wider drip rail and install that right above the rock guard, you will need something (I would think) to screw the new drip rail into like another 1x2 brace inside the wall on the inside for the screws to have something to grab, unless you pop rivet it or something.

Hmm, so this rock guard actually may not work then for mine. Unless I can add a 1 x 2 in the upper kitchen cupboard where it won't show. Ok, gotta think on this for a bit. Thanks!

Kel, maybe it's the perspective, with the rock guard in front of the trailer, but it looks a bit big for the trailer to me.

I think it is a bit big for it. I think about 2 inches too wide on each side. I think I'll have to put it aside for a bit until I can figure out if I can use it or not. I'm not sure if I could modify it to make it smaller or not.
