To properly fix the framing, I had to move the front window and lower half of the skin on the front of our '64 Airflyte. The skin is back on, but now I am at a bit of a loss as to how to reinstall the front window. Are the screw holes along the bottom of the opening to screw the aluminum back to the window frame, or do I put the window in first? Also, any tips on preventing leaks at the front window? This is what led to a lot of the original problems!
Thanks,
Steven

We use ss staples (sparingly) to hold the skin in place around the window opening if its a long window. Clean the old putty tape off the back edge of the window and apply new putty tape. Depending on the contours of the skin, I take small pieces of putty tape and build up the low spots on the skin. Hold the window in place and use a tooth pick to poke through the screw holes in the window and line up with original holes in the skin. Hope this helps.
