I mentioned this in a previous post, but can't find it. From the MV analyst to the justice of the peace:
"Our research shows four records under the vin above, but none of the vehicles had Shasta as the make, neither were any 1959. They were titled in California and Alaska."
I'm puzzled. No doubts about the vin I listed. It is stamped clearly.
After providing a little more info on the history and the state trooper inspecting one more time, I do have a court order for the title.

I am really glad to hear that. I know from reading that some states that require a title can be a real bear to get through to obtain them. I guess that careful research is a good thing, either before purchasing one with a questionable or no title, or by the State doing the research into its background. It seems like quite a large coincidence that there would be not one, but two other vehicles that had the same VIN numbers, the odds should be huge. Perhaps your next move really should be to play the next giant lottery!
