Do I need to save this or is there a place to get replacements? I told hubby to be careful with it when he removed it because I wasn't quite sure. It's bent up in a lot of places but if I need to save it, I'm sure we can figure out how to straighten it out. It's the trim that goes along the seams ... not sure what the name is.

It sounds like you are referring to the drip rail or also called 'J' rail around the perimeter of the trailer. It is available at some RV places but may be hard to locate. Here is where I found mine, but they are local to me. www.interstatemetals.com/cat_alu_moulding.htmIf your bends and dents are not too bad you can usually massage it back into shape with a hammer. Drip Riling can be ordered from "Shoprvparts.com"----I'm wondering if a new drip railing can be installed over the old railing?

Anyone looking to replace the "J" trim on their camper and can't find locally, Jim's supplier in Oregon is very helpful. I tried to get locally but was told they could not order just 2 sticks and they had to buy in bulk and probably wouldn't sell the rest. I saw Jim's post with Interstate Metal as supplier on his post above. They cut it in 8' lengths to ship UPS. For my Compact that meant having 2 joints on the back side instead of the original 1. The front/door side is no problem since I have the awning rail so the "J" trim will butt up to that on each end. If you have a bigger trailer you will probably have an extra joint or two. I just got it in today and am very pleased. I ordered 5 of the 8' lengths and total for order from Oregon to North Carolina was $77.79. Thanks Jim for the info.
