I checked all of my exterior screw`s today on my 73 compact.WOW !!! They looked tight, but some were very loose. Some of them i could tighten with my fingers. So i went all the way around the trailer, sides, end`s,roof and snugged them up.Has anyone else encountered this also ?? From now on i`m going to check all the screws at least twice a year on mine.I sure don`t want my Ol` Bessie to spring a leak, never had a leak in her life and i sure don`t want one now.Might be a good thing for everyone to check out on their camper`s once in a awhile.

Great advice 75er. I think it is inevitable that if you are using your camper the vibrations and torque on the structure must have some effect on the tightness of the screws.

Only loose screws here are in the owner. ;D
I don't have any loose screws on the trailer, but I did have to replace the some washers that I used a year ago. I cheated and used regular old zinc plated washers in a pinch. All were starting to rust, so I replaced them with aluminum.
