Does anyone have a picture of what the tail lights look like for a 1962? I would like to replace the modern lights with the original style. I've read that Reflect-o-light 110-150 is the correct one but also read something about a Bargman #??. Were they the same through various years? Thanks, Adam

Originally it had Bargman 99's on it. They look like this: www.vintagetrailersupply.com/PhotoGallery.asp?ProductCode=VTS-112Vintage trailer supply is out of stock indefinately while they look for a supplier, but I wouldn't hold my breath. They pop up on ebay from time to time, as both used and reproduction. There was a seller called moose attack that had some nice repros on ebay, but he hasn't listed any in a while... Also, no one makes the backplates that I know of, but some have had success with paint can lids. Good luck

Thanks for the info, there is a set on eBay w/1 backing plate. It says they're from a Shasta but they're the Reflect-o-lite style. Came across a 67 Starflyte this weekend and bought the wings and emblems, wish I would have paid attention to the tail lights. Also wish the wings were the right ones, but they're too small. While searching I did find a blog that used toilet closet rings and lexan to build the base plate.

Thanks for the idea Sparky. I need to get to the RV dealer near us, they have a bunch of older campers. So I might be able to get something off one of those or they may have parts from ones they've parted out. Before we bought the Shasta, we missed a 14' '62 Winnebago at the RV dealer. It was really, really (didn't need anything on the outside & interior was perfect) nice and sold for $1,200.00. Oh well, the Shasta is much cooler.

While you are looking keep an eye out for the 66 door latches as well. An old locksmith told me that they were used on a lot of old mobile homes as well. If you found a few you could pay for your restoration. ;D
