We have been having a great time camping in the '61 16' since I have put it on the road. So much so that I have done almost no improvements since, though I really need to make some curtains, and get to that darn paint job. But work be damned, let's get some relaxing in for a change. Here are a few pics of our most recent trip to Schoolhouse Canyon Campground on the Russian River. I like this wing shot And Kensie sure likes the river Off to Mount Madonna this weekend, 4th trip in I think 6 weeks.

I envy you Joe! Part of me won't allow myself to take the shasta camping until I'm 99.999% done for just that reason! I'm sure once I start having fun with it getting all the finishing touches done will go out the window... congrats on getting out with trailer...

Looks like a wonderful trip Joe. I too am liking the look as well and would be in no hurry to paint. How about a fully polished aluminum look??

I'll third that comment - like it with the polished silver on the bottom. Nice look!

The lack of paint, and primer around the window kind of give it a rat rod look. Enjoy camping, and paint when you have time.

I love the aluminum look also! As for waiting till it's done to camp? No way ... I took the loflyte camping and she's not done by any means ... just the functional stuff. Had a blast!! Got all winter to do fixups!

What a beautiful campsite! How can you resist that wonderful opportunity? I think you should let the dog have a vote.
