a previous PO had taken upon themselves to install a window unit, in the area where the fridge vent would have been, my question is measurements on that vent, not sure if they have enlarged the hole(my guess, ugh), my gal likes the idea of the a/c, possible to build a new vent, bring a/c unit inside more and face it up finished. issues with air circulation is an obvious concern. any one tackle something like this??

Pete, Check out the FS 1971 Shasta Compact thread in Shastas For sale...the picasso photos show an ac and microwave set up where the stove was, and then an answer is given to my question about the vent on the side of the trailer just in front of the door. Might be something you could incorporate. I will gget more iinfo on the set-up when I gget to trying something similar in my '61 Compact. Hope this points you in the right direction.
