My 63 Astrodome came with a new portapotty sitting where the original toilet was and covering the whole left in the floor. The honeypot is still there but needs work.
My wife hates using public showers and it would be nice to have a shower where there are no public showers. I know its personal preference but I would like some suggestions on my remodel.
I'm planning on using fiberglass reinforced plastic walls and a fiberglass pan. I want to build it so that it looks as if it was original. If I could afford it I would use stainless steel.
I plan to use a LP on demand water heater that would attach outside to a removable mount on the rear bumper and supply hot water to the shower and kitchen sink. I need to find a sink fixture for hot and cold that will look original or mount a second original for the hot. Any suggestions?
Here is a link to the fiberglass pan I'm thinking about using:

I will have to do a little work to make it fit but it will. Is 5 gallons enough for the black water tank?
I was planning on repairing the original tank, relocating it near the center just behind the axle and using it for a grey water tank.
I'm not sure what on-demand pump to buy any suggestions? I have the original fresh water tank and plan to reuse it but I think I will need an extra tank or bring extra water where there are no hook ups.
Has anyone seen a shower fixture that might look original? I have been looking around at Camping world and other new product sites. I think I need to look more at used or classic camper parts. I think shasta or airstream fixtures should look fairly original to the untrained eye.
Any thoughts, advice, or suggestions are welcome as this is uncharted territory for me. I don't think I will be able to do any work till spring but I will try to take as many pictures as possible once I start.
