Camped for two days and man was it windy! It was about 43 degrees but with the wind it felt much colder. So couldn't put up the awning. I was bummed about that for a minute as I have been wanting to use it since our awning rail got replaced. We stayed nice and warm! Though I was outside for a bit came in and shivered so decided to hook up the second small heater just to get warmer, quicker. Mistake #1. We already had a good sized heater running, several lights, radio, laptop (you see where I'm going with this right?), clock, etc., and of course I trip the breaker. Had no clue where it was so the campground owners came over to help me find it. It was under the seat...DUH! Got power back on and all was well. Got home just find, backed her in the driveway and my son is un-hooking her from the ball. I go to pull my Jeep forward to move it out from under the ball and my dear son didn't un-hook the electric for the break lights! UHHGG! Mistake #2. It ripped all the wires out of the cord and left the plug part plugged into the Jeep. So hopefully, hubby can re-wire that. He's not going to be happy having me add to his never-ending honey-do list. It was fun and cozy to camp again. Can't wait to do it again (: Here she is at the campground. Not much for trees there but it worked ok. www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=6916407&l=08b305aae2&id=612887141

Forgot to mention...we stopped for gas on the way home and this guy who was pulling out, backed up and got out and asked if he could take pics of the trailer. I said sure. He drooled all over it (not literally of course or that would of been gross), and then asked if I wanted to sell it. I graciously thanked him but said no.

Kel, you got the "first one of the season" under your belt...WTG!! Sharing your incidents will help other readers with their mental checklists on how to avoid incidents...your version of your son not unhooking the electric for the breaklights, sounded vaguely familiar to a poster's comment on another trailer web site I just read, so I searched and found it...it was an anonymous poster saying that his mom started to drive her Jeep forward before he had time to unhook the electrics to the brake lights...hmmm...probably just a coincidence...lol. Wasn't it fun cleaning that imaginary drool off the side of Daisy...
