Cabin Fever took hold after a nasty winter that started in October. I hitched up Gina and headed down the interstate headed for a camping spot that is also a fishing access site. It's nestled inbetween willow trees, large boulders, and very nice riverfront houses. Perfect for a lady camping solo!
The site was vacant so after a bit of jockeying around I got Gina set up just right.
Once we (me and Gina) were set up I grabbed my fishing pole and scrambled down to the Missouri River to cast a few lines with the hopes of NOT catching anything I would have to behead, gut, and skin! After a few casts where all I caught were weeds and the adjacent willow tree overhanging the river, I gave up.
The rest of the evening was heavenly as I sat out in the sunshine, read a book, and watched the sun slip behind the rocks.
This was my first solo camping with Gina and I'd claim it a success. Here's to many more adventures whether they be solo or with friends and family!
