Just a little something I made It's 8 x 10 on gallery wrapped canvas. It's what they call a mixed media collage painting. Hope you all like it. To give it the vintage/old look I distressed it heavily.

Kel, How did you get to be so talented AND energetic? I swear you get more done in a day than I can in a month.

Thank you girls,
Everything you see on there is a separate element (ie; trailer, butterfly, rt. 66, tag, backgrounds, etc.,). I thought about doing some for others if they were interested. The trailer in this one is my Compact. That takes about an hour in itself to edit the photo and get it just right and all cleaned up. After everything is added I do a lot of staining and painting on it to try and get it to look "just so" before sealing it. Glad you all like it.

It's great!! Looking do some art like that when I get mine to that point. Actually what I really want to do is make a couple of mosaic stepping stones to use at the door with the trailer as part of them. I know they will be heavy but it just seems like one of those things worth doing.

I think we need to tell Brian to set up a new category. Craft Corner. Where we can post quilts, solar jar lights, and things like your picture.

Thanks! Glad you like it. I went today and picked up new fabric in Aqua/yellow for the interior cushions/curtains. Oh and paint too to do the drawers in aqua. Gosh, I hope aqua and yellow will go together well.
At first I was thinking red/yellow but changed my mind (I'm prone to that). So this particular painting I'll put up on Etsy as the color won't go with my interior. But I want to do another similiar to it with aqua for the background. I think it will look cute in the trailer.
Yes, Brian...that would be cool to have a craft category. Maybe something that combines crafts and tutorials. "Crafts and Tutorials" perhaps? That way we can post both in that one section.

You all notice that only us gals have posted in this thread? hee hee! Reminds me of how some guys can be perfectly content with no decor or pics on their walls. Such as my husband when I first met him. But takes us gals and we HAVE to have purdy, colorful things and are constantly decorating things (;

That's a great idea. I have a little Singer Featherweight that I use all the time. I love it and it's small enough to be portable.

I know a few quilters that have purchased small generators so they can sew while they are out camping. I prefer the *read and doze* method of camping. I read about quilting and then take a nap.
