Our Deluxe was missing its hot water heater when we got it. We went ahead and bought an electric one yesterday. It is a Tiny Titan 2.5 gallon model that runs off of 110. I've attached a photo. It's too big to fit in the original space, but we may be able to fit it directly under the sink if we remove some shelving. We didn't do any research on this beforehand, it was just something we stumbled onto and a deal too good to pass up. If we can get it to fit, it seems like it'll be great, but I'd like to get some feedback first. Is anyone using an electric water heater (not tankless) in the Deluxes or SCS Shastas? If so, how's it working out for you? Have you taken a shower in your trailer? I'm thinking less about washing dishes and more about the hot shower that I hope to be able to experience one day. It's just a dream to think about it at this point, considering our shower is still full of acorns. Kat Attachments:

Kat, am interested in how that turned out. Please if you have any info let me know. I just purchased a Deluxe in June and am having the systems worked over. Thx!

We haven't installed it yet, but I will post an update when we do.
If we were looking for the ideal hot water heater for the Deluxe, this one would probably not be our first choice, for two reasons: 1. it's electric only (we'd prefer propane) 2. it's too big for the space where it is supposed to fit originally, so we will have to put it under the sink. It won't be reachable through the access door.
However, if we can get it positioned under the sink, it may end up that it is perfectly suitable. On the plus side, we got it ridiculously cheap, so if we end up not using it in the Deluxe I'm sure we can find a place for it elsewhere.
'59Pink, do you still have your original hot water heater?

No. No original hot water heater. It came with a retro-fit water tank that is absolutely the wrong thing. My fabricator is looking at the systems now. Will let you know what he recommends. (He's taking a really long time though which is frustrating!). Am working on posting some photos today in the photo section of the forum. You'll see what I mean. Thanks, Annette
