Mine is all bent to hell, I need about 20 ft of it or so. I thought I had read that it can be bought at interstate metals but wasnt sure exactly what it was called or if anyone had a part number. Does vintage trailer supply sell it? I thought I could reuse mine but its pretty far gone. thanks!

You can also probably get it at a local rv store...If they have it in stock you will avoid the cost of having to pay for the pvc pipe shipping container.

Thanks, I went to a local store and it was a no go. They interstate just wrote me and said that shipping alone could be $30 plus $15 for the pvc tube so Thats probably out. what about camping world? Its still a long drive to one but worth $45 probably

so far Ive been able to find it a few places online but its crazy expensive, like $45 to 50 for a 8' section. This sucks, mine is reall wacked out. Any tips on straightening it out?

Camping world doesn't sell Drip Rails, that I know of. If you are looking for Awning Rails....YES they do sell those in whatever length you need. As for the Drip Rail, try this place: www.lilbear.teardrops.net/parts.html#molding @ $2.25 per foot plus shipping. Grant is a great guy, been buying from him for years.

I bought mine from Interstate Metals. Here's my post from 11-12-2010. I bought 40' in 8' sections and it was shipped in a cardboard tube.
(Anyone looking to replace the "J" trim on their camper and can't find locally, Jim's supplier in Oregon is very helpful. I tried to get locally but was told they could not order just 2 sticks and they had to buy in bulk and probably wouldn't sell the rest. I saw Jim's post with Interstate Metal as supplier on his post above. They cut it in 8' lengths to ship UPS. For my Compact that meant having 2 joints on the back side instead of the original 1. The front/door side is no problem since I have the awning rail so the "J" trim will butt up to that on each end. If you have a bigger trailer you will probably have an extra joint or two. I just got it in today and am very pleased. I ordered 5 of the 8' lengths and total for order from Oregon to North Carolina was $77.79.)

I got 3 - 1 1/4" by 16 foot sections of J channel .040 mill finish alum. from Tony's RV in Lexington, SC last week. Part number was 31-1969STA - and the cost was $38.69 per section... that's about $2.42 per foot. That was local pick-up.

We're very close to having a J shape mill finish drip rail in our inventory. The version I was going to carry was 1/2" OD across the bottom of the J. 1/4" OD on the front upturn. And 13/16" on the back mounting surface. I could something with a slightly different profile if necessary. These are roll formed and are *not* punched so you can line them up with old mounting holes if you would like. Should have them in stock in about 3 weeks or less. Let me know if this isn't what folks are looking for and I'll keep working on it for you.
