So i have ripped out the paneling in the Compact for the whole roof and back from the inside. (sides are next). Wondering if you guys who have done rebuilds have chosen to support the roof more. All my wood beams and aluminum channels are intact and in good shape. The roof is not attached to them though. It just sits on them.
My question is should I use some sort of adhesive to glue the cross member to the roof, or perhaps that spray can expanding foam just between the wood cross beam and the skin. (i intend to re-insulate between all cross beams as well)
(if this has been covered i just didnt locate it, if you could direct me to another thread that covers it thats cool too)

I am actually putting in some thin metal bars like the one under the front window. Just for a little extra support.

The aluminum will attach to the wood around the edges and at the drip rails. These trailers were built to be used the way they were designed, so unless you are adding something really, really heavy to the roof, you can do additional supports, but it really isn't necessary and will just add weight.
