The part of the skin on the front bottom that is usually a grey colour was painted black on my 66 Shasta Compact. After striping the black away and grey underneath I discovered that the skin was actually the same aluminum as on the back of the entry door and the wings. All other photos I have seen this front part is the same aluminum with breaks as the rest of the trailer. The aluminum on mine seems to be original no evidence of being replaced. Does anyone else have the same type of front on their "66. VIN P7306 matches ownership etc, definately a '66.

do you have any pics that would help us out picturing this? Are you trying to figure out paint or do you need to replace the skin there?
