So I am SURE this question has been asked and answered 100 times on the forum, I just could not find it.
I need to get a set of moons for my 64 astrodome. It has the original rims on it 15inch 5on 5.5 BC... I see that Shasta used Ford rims. Can someone tell me what size baby moons to buy? and if you know of a good source for them? I assume these are measured by the inner diameter of the rear flange. I dont trust the ones at vitage trailer supply. The rim I bought was wrong and I have heard some negative things about their moons they offer.
I am also interested in a set of trim rings so any info on those would be helpful too. Did the Shasta's ahve trim rings originally?
Thanks folks
Tyler

Hi Tyler, I have a 59 and mine are 10 1/8 inside diameter. I'm going to order a new set from early wheel company. I like the baby moon with the nipple. I might be interested in getting a set of wings. I have a good set to copy if interested.

Tyler, go to Hub cap mikes. On the site you will find a measuring guide. And some really cool hub caps. hubcapmike.com/

Fantastic
Thanks for the input guys. I will check out the sites that you recommend and go with the 10 1/8 caps.
Bob, I am very interested in the wings. I will shoot you a PM to discuss.

I went with the 10 1/8 from Summit Racing. Fit like a champ. The quality is OK. Not the best chrome job I have ever seen but the metal itself seems fairly heavy.
